Merry Christmas Everyone! Happy New Year! This is a two week challenge and Heidi is the Hostess for a Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge.
My card is a Christmas Card for my Hubby. I wanted to make it something Special and Masculine as well. There are not too many Masculine Christmas cards out there. I started with the Circle Card Thinlits Dies. I then used the Woodland Textures E. F. on Wood Textures dsp, then dragged my basic grey ink pad across the image. This enhanced the images on the dsp. The images from "Nature Sings", were then embossed in copper on the dsp.
Here are some photo's --- Photo's are not the greatest - the grey is showing pale blue----Had to use my cell phone this time not my camera ):
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: Smoky Slate, Wood Textures dsp
Ink: Basic Grey, Versa Mark
Stamp Set: Nature Sings
Misc.: Woodland Textures E.F., Copper E.P., Circle Framelits, Circle Card Thinlits Dies, Stitched Shapes - Circles
So there you have it - I also added a holder on the back of the card for a gift card to his favorite "Man" store.
So, don't forget to check out the amazing cards that the Design Team has created. I know you will be inspired to make one of your own. Go to WWC 150 for inspiration and then link up your card for this challenge.

Have a Safe, Happy, Holiday with all your loved ones!

You're certainly right about the lack of good masculine Christmas cards available out there, Heather. I, too, like making one for my husband because then I can taylor it to his interests and colours preferences. Why not, right? Love the way you've used that Nature Sings set and the woodland embossing folder. They suit each other remarkably well. Great idea combining the Circle Card thinlits with the stitched circles. That adds even more interest. I'm sure your husband is going to love every detail of this lovely card. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you Heidi! I wish all the best to you and yours this coming Holiday and all good things in 2018! Have a wonderful Christmas.
DeleteHeather what a fabulous Masculine Christmas card for hubby. I know he's going to love it. I really love the circle thinlets die and it looks so awesome on this card, paired up with the Woodland embossing folder and all the deer images. Fantastic.
