These cards are made by Special Ladies who come on Monday nights and we make cards, gossip, and laugh a lot. They give me inspiration and quite often we will make special items or try different techniques.

The following is a Tree I made for outside. It is made from an inverted Tomato Cage, filled with tiny lights and covered with gold mesh fabric. It doesn't look like much in daylight, but when it is dark out - it looks spectacular! I saw this idea in one of the Craft Fairs last fall and loved it. They were selling them for a lot of money and I thought "I can make that for a lot less" and I did. My cost was under $20.00. I used white pipe cleaners (bought at the Dollar Store) to tie the lights and also to tie the Gold Mesh to the Tomato Cage. Just make sure your plug-in for the lights is at the bottom. I found the idea on Pinterest under Tomato Cage Christmas Trees.
