Hello Everyone! This week the Hostess is Deanne and her challenge is Christmas trees. I agree totally with her regarding trees, whether they are big or small or what color they are --- a Christmas favorite of mine too! My inspiration came from a card posted on Pinterest. I was looking for ideas on my new Woodland Embossing folder and I came across this idea! I embossed on Basic Black card stock and then dragged my Whisper White ink pad down the trees and ended up with a beautiful image in ghostly grey. I am going to use this technique for Halloween backgrounds. What do you think?

ReplyDeleteQuite a stunning card! I'm debating on this bundle........guessing I should get it! Thanks for the inspiration. Thanks for joining our 'Anything Goes Feminine' Water Cooler Challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great looking card Heather! The drag technique on the Woodland trees is such a great technique to enhance them. I love how you used the Card Front builder Die for your night sky and have that titch of sparkle behind it. The silver trees in the front of the forest and the deer are also awesome. Great card inside and out! Thanks for sharing!
