WATERCOOLER WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE WWC154-JUDY'S "ALL ABOUT CHRISTMAS" CHALLENGE - I ROCKED THE WATERCOOLER!

YAH!    MY CARD WAS PICKED FOR ROCKING THE WATERCOOLER THIS WEEK.
THANK YOU SO MUCH LADIES-----ESPECIALLY PENNY!    YOU HAVE MADE MY DAY.

Yes!  Another Christmas card Challenge!   I love it!  The Hostess Designer is Judy and she has made the cutest card.   Check out the other Design team's cards.   Each one gives us lots of inspiration and ideas.

My card is CAS and my inspiration came from cards on Pinterest that I just loved.   This stamp and die cut set is so easy to use.  The die cuts come out so clean with minimal preparation.  I cut out a large plain star and the same size but more decorative.   I then colored the plain star with gold and embossed it and set it with dimensionals.   I then placed the gold die cut over top of it.

WATERCOOLER WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE WWC153 - GAIL'S MASCULINE "ANYTHING GOES" CHALLENGE

The Hostess this week is Gail and the Challenge is Masculine - Anything Goes.   I love your card Gail - it reminds me of a Bev Doolittle painting.   Beautiful!

My card is all about men and "Fishing".   You know how they are always saying ...."You should have seen the one that got away".....well, just imagine this fish on the wall in a man cave.  LOL!     I fussy cut the fish picture from a recycled card front and used dimensionals to attach it to the wood textures dsp.  I then added the "Dare to dream" sentiment.

CHRISTMAS CARDS AND MEMORIES OF 2017

I am posting some Christmas Memories of Beautiful cards and  projects.
These cards are made by Special Ladies who come on Monday nights and we make cards, gossip, and laugh a lot.   They give me inspiration and quite often we will make special items or try different techniques.

The following is a Tree I made for outside.   It is made from an inverted Tomato Cage, filled with tiny lights and covered with gold mesh fabric.   It doesn't look like much in daylight, but when it is dark out - it looks spectacular!    I saw this idea in one of the Craft Fairs last fall and loved it.    They were selling them for a lot of money and I thought "I can make that for a lot less" and I did.   My cost was under $20.00.   I used white pipe cleaners (bought at the Dollar Store) to tie the lights and also to tie the Gold Mesh to the Tomato Cage.    Just make sure your plug-in for the lights is at the bottom.     I found the idea on Pinterest under Tomato Cage Christmas Trees.
