Anything Goes challenge is really, anything that you want to create!   Check out all the wonderful samples that have been created by the Watercooler Artists.

 

My grandchildren are back home in Williams Lake, BC!   They have spent many weeks camping, road trips or staying with relatives, throughout our wild and crazy forest fire season.  They were evacuated from Williams Lake and couldn't return as the air quality has been bad.   To welcome them home I have made a Z-Fold Box Card, with a camping theme.   A friend gave me some camping theme dsp and it worked out perfect for this card.

It's another Christmas Card Challenge and I am loving it!   Penny is our Hostess this week and her challenge is "All about Christmas".   How cool is that?   My card this week is a variety of die cuts and my favorite one is the "Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies".   It is so versatile.   I also used the "Be Merry" dsp matched with the Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler cardstock.   What a great color combination!  A few of the design team ladies used this stamp and die cut and each card is unique and beautiful.

Hello, Everyone!    Well today is the day of the Eclipse and I hope everyone is taking precautions glimpsing it.   It has definitely darkened outside, but here in BC we don't get to see the total effect.    I have a friend who has travelled down to Oregon and can't wait to hear all about it when she returns.   

 

I tried a new technique this weekend and it is so easy to do and looks so good when finished.   It is called "Woodland Faux Illusion", and yes, you use the Woodland Textures folder.  I saw this on u-tube when I was looking for more ways to use this great embossing folder.

 

I started out with a piece of silver foil paper.   First you lightly brush your Black Stazon pad on the silver foil (this gives the foil a rustic look).  Stamp your image with Versamark, then sprinkle on Gold embossing powder, then use the heat gun to emboss the image.  Last step is placing the silver foil in the embossing folder.  You can emboss the trees on your image and emboss again with the embossing powder.   I did not do this because my image became lost in the trees.  LOL!

 

So, I made 3 cards, but am posting just one.  Thought I would show  the other two cards.

Wow!  Another fun challenge for birthdays.    There is no restriction as to type of birthday card.   Your card could be for a woman, a man, a girl, a boy, or a small child.   My card is for those adults who like to relax and what better place than at the beach. 

Kath is our Hostess this week and she has created a beautiful inspirational card.  Check out the other ladies on the Design Team for more inspiration to create your own and link it to the challenge on  WWC 131.   

 

I just love this new stamp set and die cut - "Colourful Seasons and Seasonal Layers".   When I first looked at it - I missed the little drink glasses and they are just perfect to create a scene of totally relaxing on the beach.   It makes a perfect scene for a "Birthday" card.

Hello Everyone!   This week's challenge is a Feminine one and the Hostess this week is Gail with a beautiful card with gorgeous colors.   Her theme is "Anything Goes" with a feminine touch.  

This week I created a card using a "Timeless" stamp and die set called "Lady with Hat".   I could not resist buying this one, because I do love to create nostalgic cards.
