Hi Everyone!   This is a great challenge to participate in and you wind up with a lot of Christmas cards pre-made.   I finish the inside of the card and then pre-package with an envelope and then all I have to do is add the address.   My card this week is all about Stockings!   The  dsp has been retired.  It has a lot of "Old Olive" and the red's go beautifully with my base card of "Blackberry Bliss".   The Oval makes the card look dimensional with the stockings hanging on the mantel.

WATERCOOLER WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE WWC 107 - PENNY'S MASCULINE CHALLENGE: STYLE - ANYTHING GOES

My masculine card this week shows a train and an airplane travelling through the country side.  I used that beautiful stamp set "Lovely as a Tree".   It is so timeless and always shows beautifully.  Close your eyes and you can imagine the whistle of the train and the airplane engine as it goes through the valley.

Today I have used an "oldie" stamp set - Holiday Lineup.   As you can see they are a joyful group.

WATERCOOLER WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE WWC106 - HEIDI'S CLEAN & SIMPLE - SPARKLE

Hi Everyone!   Another week has passed and more snow than you can imagine.   Let's hope this is the last of Mother Nature's Storms.

Our Hostess this week is Heidi, and her challenge is Clean and Simple - Theme:  CAS with SPARKLE!  So get out your thinking caps, and create a clean and simple card but add some Sparkle to it as well.   So check out WWC106 for our talented Artists inspirational cards and link up for the Challenge.   We also show the "Simply Stamping"  rules and how to post your project.

This week I used the "Hey Chick" stamp set.  My little chick was colored with Hello Honey and I then added Glitter for my sparkle.  Mother Hen is a combination of Baked Brown Sugar and Watermelon Wonder, blended together and then applied to the image.

  I like the extra layers and embellishments on a card, so it is hard to settle down and think:  Keep it simple! This card today is clean and simple, and it also turned out quite lovely.  I kept to the basic Night of Navy and Whisper White.   They always look so nice together.   My little Mouse is from the Stamp Set "Merry Mice:, and I just love it.

WATERCOOLER WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE WWC105 - MARSHAS COLOR INSPIRATION

 We have had so much snow here in the last few days that all I can think of is soon it will be SPRING!   My card is featuring the stamp set "Flowering Fields".    I gaze at this card and Flashback to Spring and Summer in my back yard.

MERRY MONDAY CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE #233

Merry Monday #233 (The Magic # is 5!)

This challenge is asking for 5 (five) items on a card.   As soon as I saw this challenge, I immediately thought of "Five Golden Rings", from the 12 days of Christmas.

I had to improvise and find a stamp that I could hang 5 rings on.  So I fussy cut out a branch of Mistletoe and then created 5 rings out of Gold Foil paper.   The rings are from the smallest of the circle die and a 5/16 punch.  I then went to the computer to type out the sentiment and the verse inside the card.  So this is my version for the challenge.

Hi Everyone and Welcome to our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge!  Today's challenge is a Sketch Challenge from Kathryn Ricks.   For more inspiration and ideas go to WWC104  and check out Kath's design and the beautiful cards from the Design Team. 



I decided to make a Valentine card based on the above design.   I used that beautiful new DSP "Falling in Love" on Blushing Bride cardstock. 
Because I am a "Glitter Girl", I added lots of glitter to complete my card.  I also like to show the inside of the card too.
