Well, for this challenge, I used the "Country Living" stamp set.  My inspiration came from a card I cased on Pinterest and the creator was Emma Trenouth.  Many "Thanks" Emma!   I liked the idea of a car or truck crashing through a wall in "Time", and that's what I created with my card.   I used a really old dsp "Well Worn" and have the truck crashing through a brick wall.   I had to fussy cut the truck and fussy cutting through foil is not a clean cut.   Hopefully this card will bring fond memories to a guy.

Well, this is a different color challenge.   I love the light blue, and dark blue, but had a hard time with the pink.   I decided using the little Eskimo girl from Cookie Cutter Christmas and embossed her with Blushing Bride and then using a layer of pink glitter paper behind the window scene and Walla!  It worked!

These are beautiful colors, and yes, they do remind me of a cosy sweater and of being warm and cosy.    Hopefully sitting by a fire with a nice glass of wine.  LOL!   Anyway, I digress, on to the Challenge.  My card is grey and white dsp on a grey card base.   I used my beautiful ornament die cut and slipped some Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper underneath.

WATERCOOLER WEDNESDAY CHALLENGES GUEST DESIGNER - WWC 94

Guest Designer for Watercooler Wednesday........

Welcome Stampers!    I received a Special Surprise last week when I was asked to be a Guest Designer for this week's Challenge.   I feel so honored and proud.  My sister, Penny Hanuszak, is a special Guest Designer and has just left for her wonderful vacation.  She has been my inspiration and guide since 2005 when I  became interested in Stamping! 
 The Watercooler Wednesday Artists Design Team host a weekly challenge and they showcase the challenge with each of their beautiful cards.   Here is my special Badge, which I am displaying with Pride!

This week's Challenge is Heidi's "Simply Stamping Challenge - Featuring Coffee or Tea.

Here are the Rules for Simply Stamping:
"Simply Stamping" is a return to basics.  We expect either one single stamped layer or a base with one single layer on that.  We expect simple stamping.  You can use masking, heat embossing, stencilling, sponging.  You cannot use an embossing folder or embellishments or additional layers (not even a tag).

My card base is Whisper White, and then stamped on a single layer also in Whisper White.    I used the stamp sets of  Tea Shoppe, Gorgeous Grunge and Balloon Celebration in either Strawberry Slush or Coastal Cabana  and basically had fun with the stamps.

Deborah, these are such beautiful color choices for a Christmas card.  Today, I am using a stamp set "Banners for Christmas", and  the "Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.  I loved the Christmas card using the stamp set in the Holiday Catalogue, and thought I would try my version of it.   A fair amount of watercoloring, but worth it.

Well, these kids are having too much fun!   My card reflects lots of fun times.  Kids clowning around and just having fun in the snow. 
Every once in a while I get down and make an Angel is the snow.  It is so much fun and takes you back to your childhood.

Woo Hoo!  It's time for a sketch challenge!  This week Jean Fitch has created an awesome sketch for us.  Remember, sketch challenges have a lot of options as long as it is clear that the sketch was used.  Turn it on its side.  Flip it upside down.  It's your choice.

 

Thanks Jean for your wonderful card dimensions!  They worked out perfectly.  I decided to use the sketch above after working out my colors.  I added a little bit of whimsy with my moose dsp and then topped it off with a Moose and Santa hat.  I then added my sentiment on the side.

I had a lot of digging for this one.   No door stamps or pictures, so I stamped the Hardwood, and then found an old Christmas card with a beautiful wreath.   After fussy-cutting the wreath, I then added some glitter and attached it to my new Hardwood door!
