What is Anything Goes?  It is simply a project which you have created and wish to share.  There are no restrictions or rules.  That's what this week's challenge is all about - creations.  

 

We all know that Spring is when the golfing starts in Canada.  In Vernon golfing started earlier than normal with our fantastic weather.  My card was made for a person who loves to golf, and they loved it.  The large round "golf ball" is from a bar that was using them as coasters.  I knew I could use them on a card, but who knew as Golf Balls!   LOL!

My card for this challenge is from a Christmas card that I received that had a beautiful "snowy" scene with tree branches that were sparkly with lots of snow.   I recycled these images with a few embellishments for my card.  I also carried the images inside as well.

Watercooler Wednesday WWC64 - Heidi's CAS to Celebrate Spring Challenge

What is clean and simple?  According to the challenges which host only CAS (clean and simple), this is what one aims to do:  CAS (acronym for "clean and simple":  A design of card with clean lines, minimal elements, areas of white space and few or no embellishments, most often single layered or minimal layers.



My inspiration comes from Leanne Johnson.  I know dandelions are a nuisance and a lot of people do not like them, but just think all those bears coming out of hibernation, they love to eat them.  I am not saying you want to see a Bear on your front lawn, but there are some good things about dandelions.  I loved Leanne's card and I just love those little stamps from the "Balloon Celebration" stamp set.  Who knew they could make fabulous designs on cards!

These are the most beautiful colors for a Christmas Card.  Good choice Debbie!  My card is a CAS and very easy to make.  I used Blackberry Bliss, which is a beautiful deep purple, with Silver and the Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies.  I loved the design and color combo so much that I made two cards with different ornament dies.

These colors are amazing together!  What a great choice Kath!  My inspiration came from Pinterest!  I can't thank the creator, as there was no name.  This was a fast and simple card to make.  I embossed the birds with white embossing powder and they just popped out.

WATERCOOLER CHALLENGES WWC62

WWC62 - Leanne's Tic-Tac-Toe

Most people know how a Tic-Tac-Toe game is played:  you pick a line of three squares in a row which can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.  The only rule is that the squares must be three in a row.  . 

My card for this challenge starts at the right corner and goes down.
I made a Fun Fold card with stripes from an embossing folder and   purple - Blackberry Bliss.  I know this doesn't look like a fun-fold yet, but wait for the surprise inside!

Inside View.............Now for the grand finale! This Fun Fold is a Diagonal Pop Up.  Look at how excited my little House Mouse is for the Birthday Celebration!

Well, now that Easter is behind us, I can now work on more Christmas cards.   My card in the challenge is very CAS!  I had some old dsp, gold foil, ribbon from a gift, and a great Sentiment for inspiration.
