Hi Everyone, another week, another Christmas card.  I created this one with a lot of leftover scraps and odd pieces from other cards.  A friend gave me the textured paper, so I used a die cut to frame the pinecone image.  It took me forever to find something with Believe on it.  You think I would have a least have one stamp that says it   Anyway, I finally found a sticker and improvised it a little.  But, hey, that's what these challenges are all about!

Here we are again and fortunately I found all three colours in my stock.  I love butterfly's and think they make the most beautiful cards..........so that is what I made.

Another great day in Vernon!   I want the sun to keep on shining everyday, it makes you feel so good.

 

I love these colors and fortunately I still had a few pieces of  Real Red Card Stock..

 

I used the style and design of Lesley Croghan's card only made my version.  Thanks Lesley for the inspiration!

MERRY MONDAY CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE #154 (LET'S GET VINTAGE)

I'm back............Between Easter weekend and the garden I have been busy.  We went down to Abbotsford for my Mom's 93rd birthday and to visit with family over the Easter Weekend.  Good times.

I also have a big yard that needs constant attention.  We pruned a lot of shrubs and trees.  Cleaned up the back hedge and had someone take all the branches away.  We also put out 34 bags of debris.  Thank goodness that is all done.  Now it is time to start the rounds in the garden again as the weeds never stop. 

I love vintage and this was a nice challenge to do.

 

A closer look...

 On this card I used old dsp, glitter paper, a bit of  lace and the Snow Flurry die cut.  I used Chocolate Chip card stock and also a sponge dobber with Chocolate Chip ink around the dsp and image card to give it the vintage look.

This was an interesting color challenge.  The Design Team shared some beautiful combinations.  I hope you like mine!
